Pet dogs worse for the environment than SUVs?
The environmental footprint of an average “resource-guzzling” hound is twice that of a typical sport utility vehicle, say New Zealander researchers Robert and Brenda Vale, who note that a surprising amount of land is required to produce Fido’s meals each year (roughly 2 acres). The book has caused a ruckus by saying people should go pet-free—and even consider eating strays.I’m more offended by this than the Ehrichs. Mostly because dogs are rad and people are dicks. Maybe we should kill and eat humans?
Jonah Goldberg wrote a piece for the NR about this saying that liberals would take his dog from his cold dead hands. What a card! Did you hear about the time he wrote a book saying that liberals were actually fascists?
