Electronics complaining
a) I ripped apart the SD-1, replaced the clipping stage with a mix of silicon and germanium, threw in a bonus switching stage just for the hell of it, and put it back together. The switching stage still works but it’s not passing a signal. I suspect it is a problem with the stacked ICs and I also suspect that I fucked up the JRC4558 when desoldering it. So we’re on to the troubleshooting stage.
b) My mouser and digikey orders which I put in on 9/1 have still not shipped. Mouser is out of 1% 220ohm resistors, .047uf 100v caps, and Digikey is out four potentiometers. Damn, dudes.
c) That repair of the Korg echo pedal went swimmingly.
