Clinic spectacle report
Was in front of Planned Parenthood to talk to the coordinator that morning and make sure no severe assholes were going to show up due to 40 Days of Life. Here’s my report, internet:
a) A new younger (age 18-21) protester had a velvet jewelry box with fetuses in it that she showed me, featuring little plastic fetuses at various weeks of development. She gave me a flyer called ‘What They Never Told You About the Facts of Life’ which is pretty easy on the fire and brimstone. She was wearing a Notre Dame sweatshirt — I should have asked her if she felt the Jews were responsible for making Obama deliver the commencement like the older guy who protests this particular clinic.
b) There’s a somewhat legendary fetus truck owned by a group up in Baltimore that drives around and is an eyesore. An old guy who looks a lot like an Acquisitions guy from my office had a truck that he could mount different slabs of plywood onto. These slabs of plywood had pictures of shit (like TERRI SCHIAVO! OH LOOK AT THE TIME, 2004) on them. He was busily switching them around from being healthcare shit to abortion related shit. I took a cameraphone picture but I don’t know if it turned out or not.
